The famous restaurant, bar, catering and in-room dining services are managed by world-renowned Master Chef Wolfgang Puck with a menu featuring modern California cuisine with European and Mediterranean influences in a spectacular garden setting.

The incredible re-design of Hotel Bel-Air by the famed interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud was inspired by 1930's, 1940's and 1950's Hollywood, a period of Southern Californian residential architecture and design that produced an all American style evoking glamour and graceful living with international flair.

The Bel-Air’s design has always mixed the influences of Spanish colonial, layered with the smooth finishes and graceful shapes of French Deco, the last word in fashion of the time. The style that emerged was young, fun, fresh and elegant. Stone floors in limestone and polished marble, smooth, pale plaster walls, natural wood ceilings and rich finishes and textures with bold strokes of color in furnishings were melded to create a confident style that complements the glorious garden atmosphere.

The famous hotel bar was re-designed keeping its unique club-like vibe in mind. A central fireplace, grand piano, and wood paneled walls will make you feel like you’ve been transported back to the Golden Age of Hollywood.

The Lobby Lounge is the heart of the hotel. The lounge is a light and airy space with a gorgeous stone fireplace, and arched windows overlooking the gardens where guests can relax and enjoy conversation, a cup of tea or a cocktail.

Hotel Bel-Air's 12 acres of gardens have created a peaceful environment for health and wellness for over 65 years. We are very excited to launch the next enhancement to our magical oasis, the new Hotel Bel-Air Spa by La Prairie. The new spa features seven treatment rooms, including a couples retreat with private patio, a mosaic steam, and comfortably chic relaxation areas. A new state-of-the-art fitness studio will be adjacent to the spa.
